Information for Professionals.

From 1st September 2019 the Green Light Project will be operating on a part time basis and the focus will be to support vulnerable children and young people at risk of sexual exploitation. Unfortunately, we will no longer be able to provide training. For further information on this, please make contact with the Young Persons Worker for the Green Light Project.

Should you be looking for some useful resources to use yourself with young people you deem to be at risk of sexual exploitation, please see the below links:

- – This video is a great aid in helping to explain what consent is to young people.

- - This website is great for helping you discuss consent and the law with young people.

- – This video helps young people suffering with self esteem issues understand just how photoshopped their favourite celebrities can be.

- – A good tool for helping young people who have shared inappropriate images of themselves.

- - The Professionals Online Safety Helpline (POSH) was set up to help all members of the community working with or for children in the UK, with any online safety issues they, or children and young people in their care, may face.

- - A useful guide for parents/carers on how to encourage their children to be more aware of what they are sharing online.
